Conwy is a fantastically quaint town of narrow streets, period properties and homes Conwy Castle, the third of Edward I great castles built in 1283. Nestled within the historical town is Quay Marina which hosts 465 fully serviced berths and it is the only marina in North Wales to be rated a 5 Gold Anchor Marina. They have useful facilities such as toilets, showers and laundry and a full boatyard service is available if needed carried out by knowledgeable staff. Explore the beautiful bays around Anglesey, visit the world-famous Great Orme or even make a short trip to Snowdonia National Park.
Sail into Dart Marina this summer and you’ll love what you see, from the colourful pastel houses, to magnificent Dartmouth Castle that can be seen from the water, this picturesque seaside town has much to offer. Wander the cobbled streets, walk along the embankment or head to Sharpham Vineyard for some quality fine wine. When you’re done, sail and explore the Start Bay, which has one of the finest coastlines in Europe.
Not only is this marina famous for hosting the round-the-world yacht races, if you love putting your feet up and enjoying relaxation, then head to Ocean Village and delight in their luxurious spa hotel complex that sits on site. The marina is suitable for all boat types including large ships and yachts and there is a range of restaurants at the marina for you to enjoy. In the morning, you’ll have easy access to superb and varied cruising, to the west is the picturesque Beaulieu River and the surrounding New Forest and Portsmouth Harbour is only a few miles to the east.
Spend the weekend in Cowes, berth at East Cowes Marina and enjoy some scrumptious food in their lifeboat pub, that overlooks the marina. You’ll be safe in the knowledge that your boat is being thoroughly looked after.
